Enjoy RBC Skate in the Square – FREE skating 7 days a week, 8:00am-10:00pm, December 18, 2013 to February 28, 2014, in Towne Square

Enjoy the wintertime splendor of Downtown Oakville with free skating in Town Square. The ice surface is synthetic, which means you can join in the fun no matter the weather!

Sharp skates recommended.  Children must be supervised by guardian at all times.  Hockey not permitted.  Rink usage undertaken at own risk.  Helmets recommended.

Soft Rink Opening

December 20, 2013, 7:00am– 11:00am

Join us for a skating party to celebrate the start of the new rink.  Meet Olympian Becky Keller-Duke, enjoy live music, skating demonstrations, and delicious treats.  Demo skates available in select sizes, first come first serve.

Also, later that afternoon come by the rink for an opportunity to meet Toronto Maple Leaf goalie Jonathan Bernier from 2:00pm – 3:00pm

Rink Grand Opening

January 4, 2014, 11:00am-1:00pm

In celebration of the opening of the rink we welcome you and your family to our Grand Opening celebration.  With live music, family entertainment, skating demonstrations, rink-side treats, official ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Burton and special guests, it will be a fun day for the whole family and a great way to round out the holidays before school resumes.
